Spring Session
CONGRATULATIONS to our skaters who attended the 2nd annual Center Skating Competition!

On February 7- 8th, Finesse Figure Skating Club will attend Center Skating Academy’s 2nd Annual Competition. Our skaters participated in a number of solo, partner, and team events throughout the weekend. Check out our stats from the competition below!

Shoutout to our “Corntastic Day” participants, which features both adult and youth team members. We’re thrilled to see you all collaborating to make this program a success. Thank you to our parents, grandparents, friends, and family, who also help us build props and organize behind the scenes to make this program come together.
Specialty Class- Wednesdays
Ensemble
Start Date: Wed. March 4, 2026, 4:00-5:30pm
Location: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA)
Skaters will learn and practice a brand new group program during this class. All who enroll before Feb. 10th will have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming ISI East Coast Nationals and Synchronized Skating Championships in April.
Enrollees after the Nationals entry deadline may have other opportunities to compete in May and June during our spring II session.
This is ideal for skaters who are focusing on improving their skills and testing to their next level in a unique and inclusive way.

Skaters will test for their next ISI skating level during class upon coach’s recommendation and skater’s readiness.
Specialty Class- Wednesdays
Team Compulsories
Start Date: Wed. March 4, 2026, 4:00-5:30pm
Location: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA)
*Must have coach recommendation before enrolling.
This is ideal for skaters who are ISI level Delta and up.
As the session continues, there may be an opportunity for skaters who are ISI levels PreAlpha through Gamma to participate as well. Make sure you’re on our email list to receive notifications about more spots opening up for a future Freestyle 1 team.
Skaters enrolled before Feb. 10th, will be competing their Team Compulsory program in the upcoming ISI East Coast Nationals and Synchronized Skating Championships in April.
After the Feb. 10th entry deadline, there may be additional competitions in May and June for skaters to participate during our spring II session.

Specialty Class- Sundays
Moves with finesse
Start Date: Sun. March 1st
Location: New England Sports Center (Marlboro)
This is a great class for adult and youth skaters who want to continue improving their skating skills. Coaches will be covering various US Figure Skating moves patterns, posture, presentation, rhythm, and flow. Class will be divided by age, ability and patterns, depending on enrollment.
Ideal for skaters who:
Are working on specific US Figure Skating tests
ISI skaters who want stronger edges and more precise turns
Recreational skaters who want to feel more comfortable moving across the ice
Want to better understand their natural rhythm and flow for better presentation scores
A special emphasis will be put on following patterns, regulating your skating power and speed, as well as control.

Specialty Class- Sundays
Teen/ Adult Beginner Class
Start Date: Sun. March 1st
Location: New England Sports Center (Marlboro)
This class is perfect for skaters who are feeling a little rusty getting back on the ice, or teens and adult who are new to skating. Get comfortable moving effortlessly across the ice, gliding on one foot, doing crossovers, skating backwards and more! Ages 16+.

Skaters: Choose how many sessions (classes) you would like to enroll in based on your schedule and your goals. You can enroll week to week (choose 1-Session), or the full session. Our classes are pro-rated, week to week.
Each session is 60 minutes with 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of independent practice.

Team Skating Class
Mid-session enrollment available & pro-rated
Classes are on Thursdays @ 4:00-5:30pm
Location: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA)
Perfect for beginner youth skaters interested in team skating but not ready to commit to the full season of competitions and out of state travel. There may be multiple opportunities for skaters to participate in competitions/ shows.
Last day to enroll and register for ISI East Coast Championships in Marlborough, MA is Feb. 10th.

Independent Practice

Locations: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA) and New England Sports Center (Marlboro)
Looking for another day to skate with friends, have a private lesson, practice for an upcoming competition, or work on your individual moves? Come join us on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays for freestyle ice.
Currently, for the spring 2026 session we’re not offering a specialty class on Fridays in Franklin. We encourage our team skaters and soloists to utilize Fridays as an additional practice day.

Classes are pro-rated (week-to-week).
Spots are limited and are not guarantee until payment is received, all waivers, and forms are submitted electronically or in paper form. See a copy of our Code of Conduct form and Participation Waiver linked.
Enrollment does not rollover from session to session. Purchased sessions must be used during the current Spring 2026 period.
No refunds.
Makeups are not guaranteed and will only be offered at the discretion of Skating Directors.

All Finesse Figure Skating members must be members of ISI (Ice Sport Industry). If you need to renew your annual membership, click here.

In the event of inclement weather, class cancellations are at the discretion of the Skating Directors unless the rink location closes due to a weather emergency.
All Finesse Freestyle sessions must be paid-in-full regardless of how long skaters remain on the ice.
