Waitlist & Refund Policy
At Finesse Figure Skating Club, we want all of our skaters, parents, and guardians to have a great experience on the ice and beyond. We strive to ensure everyone who joins our programming participates to their best of their abilities, abides by our club’s code of conduct, and helps to make our skating environment a welcoming, friendly, and inviting space to be.
We keep most of our class sizes small to ensure every skater has to room to grow and receives adequate attention from our coaches. That being said, once our class sessions begin (Fall, Winter I, Winter II, Spring, and Summer) refunds will not be issued. Once every spot is accounted for, in our classes especially, skaters may be asked to join our waitlist. No payment will be accepted until there is a spot available and skater agrees to attend. If the skater does not wish to accept the available spot, we will move to the next name on the waitlist, and the original skater forfeits their spot; so on and so forth.
Once the current session begins, Finesse Figure Skating Club may not issue refunds for specialty classes, pre-booked freestyle ice time, team skating class, or special events.
All monthly team dues for both youth team skating and adult team skating are non-refundable.
If a team skater needs to step away from the skating season due to injury, an emergency situation, or other extenuating circumstances, their position on team may be held until they’re able to return. During which time, monthly dues are not expected, unless otherwise noted for situations like competition registrations, or special events and performances which may occur upon the skater’s return.
All team skaters are expected to fulfill their Skater Agreement and follow the Code of Conduct throughout the skating season.
All skaters must meet their financial obligations (team skating dues, specialty class registrations, freestyle ice, testing fees, annual membership dues, etc.) before the end of the current session. If a skater does not fulfill their financial obligations to Finesse Figure Skating Club, their annual club membership may be forfeited, regardless of how much time remains, and they may lose the ability to participate in future programming with Finesse.
