13 Finesse skaters participated in solo, partner, and team events while in Lake Placid.

Thank you for bringing home our first team trophy and medals for Finesse Figure Skating Club! Special thank you to all the families, friends, and skaters who supported our efforts in traveling to Lake Placid and volunteering their time while at the competition.

Specialty Class- Thursdays

Team Skating Class

Start Date: Thurs. January 29, 2026, 4:00-5:30pm

Location: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA)

Perfect for beginner skaters interested in team skating but not ready to commit to the full season of competitions and travel. Classes start 1/29 @ 4:00-5:30pm

Specialty Class- Wednesdays

Progress Sessions

Start Date: Wed. January 7, 2026, 4:00-5:30pm

Location: Pirelli Veteran’s Arena (Franklin, MA)

Register for our BRAND NEW specialty class, Progress Sessions!

This is ideal for skaters who are focusing on the skills they need to pass their next level and test. If your skater is interested in competing on one of our Team Compulsory teams (FS 1-4), this is the right class for your skater.

Skaters who are competing in upcoming competitions will have the opportunity for immediate feedback to polish their programs and presentation skills too.

Skaters will test for their next ISI skating level during class upon coach’s recommendation and skater’s readiness.

*Due to upcoming hockey tournaments, we will not have classes or freestyle on Wed. Jan. 21st & 28th, or Wed. Feb. 11th & 18th.

Specialty Class- Sundays

Teen/ Adult Beginner Class

Start Date: Sun. December 21, 2025

Location: New England Sports Center (Marlboro)

This class is perfect for skaters who are feeling a little rusty getting back on the ice, or teens and adult who are new to skating. Get comfortable moving effortlessly across the ice, gliding on one foot, doing crossovers, skating backwards and more! Ages 16+.

Skaters: Choose how many sessions (classes) you would like to enroll in based on your schedule and your goals. You can enroll in one session at a time, two, or the full session.

Each session is 60 minutes with 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of independent practice.

*No ice time on Jan. 4th to allow our skaters and coaches to travel back home safely after the Lake Placid Competition.

*Due to hockey tournaments, we will not hold adult team skating, freestyle, or classes on Jan. 18th.

Adult W.I.N. Sessions

Start Date: Sun. December 21, 2025

Location: New England Sports Center (Marlboro)

This is a great class for adult skaters to enroll in this session. Skaters will improve their edges, flow, and overall skating quality each week. Receive coaching and specific feedback to help you focus and continue improving.

*Please note, we recommend taking two or more classes back-to-back in order for you to see the most progress in your skating.

We are still accepting donations to benefit our solo and team Finesse Figure Skating Club skaters. Help them continue preparing for their competition season by joining in on our latest fundraiser or donating any monetary amount.

Payment + Club Info:

Classes are pro-rated (week-to-week).

Spots are limited and are not guarantee until payment is received, all waivers, and forms are submitted electronically or in paper form. See a copy of our Code of Conduct form and Participation Waiver linked.

Enrollment does not rollover from session to session. Purchased sessions must be used during the current Winter 25-26 period.

No refunds.

Makeups are not guaranteed and will only be offered at the discretion of Skating Directors.

Testing fee and ISI badge: $13.00

Returned check fee: $25.00

General Info:

All Finesse Figure Skating members must be members of ISI (Ice Sport Industry). If you need to renew your annual membership, click here.

Please email us prior to class if you/ your skater cannot attend class for any reason [SkateWithFinesse@gmail.com].

In the event of inclement weather, class cancellations are at the discretion of the Skating Directors unless the rink location closes due to a weather emergency.

All Finesse Freestyle sessions must be paid-in-full regardless of how long skaters remain on the ice.
